Carmi Harris is an Award-Winning Actress, Singer / Songwriter

​Carmillia “Carmi” Harris started singing in her dad's church in Georgia at the age of 4. At the age of 12, she recorded her first single - “Angel” and later took five years of classical music training with an emphasis on voice at LaGrange College with Dr. Toni Anderson as her primary teacher and advisor. In addition to her vocal training, Carmi has studied acting with current coach Eugenie Bondurant and mentor Vivian Fleming- Alvarez as well as Andi Matheny, Peggy Sheffield, Erica Sutherlin and more.  As well as music, Carmi studied theatre at LaGrange College and Regent University.  Also, while at LaGrange College, Carmi produced her first all inclusive art show Thursday Night Soul; and during her time at Regent University, Carmi co-founded a cappella group "First Edition". Carmi has appeared in several stage productions including A Motown Christmas, Roe(u.s.), Beehive, Footloose, Memphis, The Wiz, Black Nativity and more. The vocalist, actor & model has also appeared in several short films, commercials and on national networks including PBS, BET, CBN and HSN. In 2015, Carmi was placed winner on her performance with the "Alex Harris" band in the Florida Grammy Chapter Showcase. In 2016, Carmi debuted her first solo show Carmi's Playlist. Carmi desires to use her creativity & talents to express love & to inspire.
